So I'm listening to this and I'm amazed at the detachment she has to this whole thing. As if she's watching CSI or Law and Order. Apparently she saw this all as an exercise in winning. A 12 year old girl got raped and she pretty much knows it and doesn't really care.
Now, I understand in our justice system that the guilty and innocent are represented equally. I know also that screwing up evidence is what it is. It's infuriating when it happens but the last thing we want is the other way around, where they can just manufacture evidence against you. Better for some guilty men to go free than innocents behind bars.
No, what really bothers me is her detachment and amusement by it all. I'm sure she'll be oh-so-frownypants-suit if she gets confronted about it now. But that's a facade. This tape is who she is, and she is not a human anymore. She has no empathy for the victim because in this case, the victim got in her way of success.
Oh but she's matured. She has much more empathy now for victims of violence. Wait, like Benghazi?
